Domino78 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Dispatcher of Rüningen has just asked me to change the direction on the section Rüningen-Okerbrücke. - After refusing the conversation ends, and in same moment he calls me again to ask if he can send the same train on the wrong line. - Answering yes nothing happens, the train doesn't enter the area. - After answering "i will change the direction" nothing happens. Are the lines reversible? Can I somehow change the direction?? It seems that Hrue remembers my answer: if I accept the train on wrong line instead of normal, or normal instead of wrong line, next time asks to change the direction on the line accordingly. The same applies to Schandelah. Ver. 2.0.0.96

The same applies to Schandelah. Ver. 2.0.0.96 The lines you mentioned are not reversible, so you should not accept trains on the wrong line there at any time. The dispatcher Rüningen and Schandelah shouldn't call in for these kind of questions, as he can not change directions either. As far as I can remember this is something that will be resolved in a future update of Braunschweig. (read: the tracks will stay non-reversible, but the dispatchers will stop offering trains on wrong track)
Domino78 Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 Well, this seems to be a serious withdrawal compared to 2.0.0.0... Fortunately I have backed up the 2.0.0.0, there was problem only with the Weddel–Schandelah
Domino78 Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 It seems that the bug appears after first calling Rüningen. It sends the trains without problems until I call him first time to announce a train. From that moment he will call me before each train as I described before.
signalsoftRC Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 mmm... that might explain it... you don't have to call Rueningen if you go over the normal line. (right handed line). If you offer him a train, he thinks it's over teh wrong line (the left handed line)
Domino78 Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 If you offer him a train, he thinks it's over teh wrong line (the left handed line) I think I understand. If I offer a train, he will change the direction on the wrong line to HBs->HRue, but next time I should change the direction back to HRue->HBs. But there is no button for that... Meanwhile I have found a couple of suspicious things (train does not completely release the route if overlap is locked; something odd is happening at Gabelung; 54GSP does not switch automatically to protection, etc.). Is there an official bug-list? I would like to be sure if they are bugs/they were already reported before I start a new topic
Domino78 Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 By the way, if I set a route towards HGGL on the wrong line, but I release it manually, the direction gets stuck. I cannot change it back, until I don't send a train to HGGL...
pblanksb Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I am being asked by the dispatcher at RBF Stw 7 (Hbsra) to reverse the direction on a non-reversible line for train 44105 to depart at 0347 towards Schandelah. I refuse so he asks to send the train anyway. I accept but nothing happens and then I receive another call asking me to reverse direction. The same is now happening for train 44107 at 0426 from the same location. I am running version 2.0.0.96. Phil.

There is a posting about this in the German forums as well: Erlaubniswechsel mit Rbf Stw7 The problem is already resolved by the Signalsoft Team, but an update of Braunschweig (in which this is one of the fixed issues) has not been released yet. For your information, the update will also give some major functional changes in the Braunschweig simulation. I found a kind of planning of which sim is updated or released when. Can be found here: Neue Sim und Update???. Things are a bit behind of that schedule though But anyway, Braunschweig is high on the list to be updated soon Best regards Erwin

Are you at liberty to discuss what those functional changes are? I'll look forward to the Braunschweig update. Thanks again, Phil.
TjoeTjoe Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks for that Erwin. Are you at liberty to discuss what those functional changes are? I'll look forward to the Braunschweig update. Thanks again, Phil. The major change will be in the Stw Ba, so where we hide the trains when we don't need them. Braunschweig yards I mean. Now a "black hole", but soon to become the Dark Territory or even better, the same way its implemented in the Cologne simulation Some information can be found in the Developer Blog : November 2010, last post by Richard there
