block direction in KAN

Featured Replies

Please is there someone that can explain to me what that little blue circle near the yellow triangle and EAT button means . I noticed that in KAN simulation the circle become blue when i set a route but while train direct to south arrive at Wiessenthrum the blue circle go off (dark) for trains direct to north (Brohl) the circle remain blue even if train arrive at Brohl and disappear from the simulation. There is a specify reason for this difference ?

Thanks for the reply

Hi Diego,

I am not completely sure (searched the manuals quickly) but as far as I know, the blue light near the EaT direction indicators, indicate that the direction is locked as a train route has been set into a certain direction. I should distinguish as soon as (in case route has been set towards neighbour) train has arrived there and no other train is being send towards there. And thus, if clear of trains and train routes, direction should be able to be changed by one of the Signal Boxes (KAND or Brohl)

In other words, it should go off once the train you send to Brohl has left the building .... ehh ... your area of responsibilty and left the open line towards Brohl.

I think you found a feature ;-)

Thanks for your reply. I noticed that when the first train sent to Brohl is arrived at Brohl if i set another route for Brohl and after i revoke the route the blue circle go off. So i think that this is a little bug and so, hovewer, if possible, i ask to Richard to correct it at the first occasion he can.

Thanks

When train arrives at Brohl and the circle remain blue is possible however to change with the eagt button the block direction. So, really, the track in this moment is not locked and then the blue indication is not true

Good night

Diego
