Auto Update

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I'm having some trouble with the Auto Update feature. Simulation was purchased via download and is registered (with licence key). Running Win XP SP2.

Current version is 2.1.0.104

Opening page states Update is available but when pressed says latest version is installed.

Thanks as always,

Graham

Some kind of escape for this, when it is not working from within the simulation programm itself, is to run "Update.exe".

This exe is located in the main folder where you installed Andernach.

Make sure the simulation itself is not running when doing that.

It might help

Please contact the Signalsoft team (via the feedback address mentionned on one of the first pages in the PDF Manual).

I remember in some rare events the Auto updater could not work. Either Richard or Charlie will help you on this.

Choose a good subject in your e-mail (i.e. KKAS Sim does not Update from 2.1.0.104 to 2.3.0.85), and explain what is (not) happening at your end.

Hi Graham,

sometimes I do have some kind of memory. You said v2.1.0.104 right?

The answer might be here for you:

DE - Hürth-Kalscheuren -Update funktioniert nicht

But in short: just download this Update for the Updater : http://signalsimulation.com/downloads/HuerthUpdate.zip

Your version of the Updater has problems with the special character in the Hürth-Kalscheuren station name

Hope this helps

Erwin
