Typing notes into the notepad.

Featured Replies

I would like to be able to type my own notes into the notepad, as there are things that I wish to remember, that are not from a conversation, like which track or platform I sent a particular train to.

is implemented in Post T Hengelo simulation :-)

We heard a couple of times that wish... :-)

Could it be implemented into Arnhem with a patch?

Could it be implemented into Arnhem with a patch?

mmm... I want to get out Hengelo first.

I have to discuss the impact of that change with the team here first. (adding features to Arnhem is not that simple).

It's not only "simply adding a line" there....

it affects saving/loading, testing, manual, localisation.

And in principle we only patch it if it's broken. not for adding features. I'll see what we can do.

I can already do that!

I use pen and paper :P

I use pen and paper, but I'd like to be able to keep as much as I can within the game. If and when we get this ability, I will no longer be cluttering up my desk with papers.

Hahaha! Used to living in the 21st century!

Paper clutter? Welcome to the world of train dispatching!

Be happy we haven't included yet a full fledged engineering works scenario. It would scare you to "a buffer end."

Note that the real dispatchers are/were buried in paper. Just that you couldn't say "I didn't know that" if it went wrong somewhere.
