working with this new simulation standing alone (not connected with others) for trains coming from Andernach will be in the next future possible to have the real representation of passenger scheduled stops at Andernach on Gleis 01 ?

And if a train in Andernach arrive not in gleis 01 (for example it stops to give the way to another train more fast) what kind of representation i have after block section 37 and 39 ?

i think that working not connected to Andernach all trains have passage on 37 + 39 + 01 without stops even if they have a stop for passenger service . Is this correct ?

thanks for the reply

there is a severe technical difference between "being in line operations" and "stand alone'. In Line operations you will see the real mirror fields of the 37+39+1 and the pre-announcement on V001. The data is directly fed from Andernach simulation. Even if you set a route out of the yard towards 001, you will see the correct number first in V001 (blinking)

If you're stand alone, we have two choices:

1 we leave those number fields dark and the train "suddenly" shows up at 001 without any "preannouncement" (the blinking number). Very "unreal".

2 we emulate the same "flow" of trains by actually letting the trains run over the 37-39-1 sequence and there is not much "difference' from being stand alone and being in line operations.

We chose the 2. option. To keep the difference between "stand alone" and "line operations" as minimal as possible. That there is in stand alone not a "real platform" in 1, is a trade off.

We do the same in Bad Breisig (the platform IS in both infrastructure files). In Weißenthurm this was not possible (as there are switches in between 1 and 001!)

Yes, it is missing on the panel.

For now, you can operate it from the Group Button Panel window

Erwin, please can you inidcate to me where to find a timetable good for this simulation. I tried to download Project_Rheingold but no trains are on the panel

I could be wrong, but I believe you also have Andernach, Bonn-Bad Godesberg, Remagen

Those simulations have been updated this weekend as well, and those did also provide the latest timetable.

A all the rheingold simulations (expect KK and KKAS) currently use one and the same timetable (Rheingold_project.mdb), it does no matter whether you use the KRE, KBBG, KAND etc version. They are all the same.

So pick the latest from i.e. Andernach (included in 120203_project_rheingold.zip)

I have no idea why the timetable is not offered within Weissenthurm to be honest. It might have been forgotten to do so

ok is right I tried with new Project_Rheingold just used for Remagen and it works fine so for Weissenthurm.

Thanks for the suggestion

Hi Diego,

today i made some changes in the rheingold-timetable which has effects to Weißenthurm. In this overworked timetable with real stops will be a few overhaul, some RBs would be arrive at Track 3 and IC will pass them before depature.

Think the new timetable will be online this night or tomorrow.

No, the changes in the timetable Nopileos is refering to are that some RB trains have their stop on Platform 3 in Weissenthurm now, as some IC's (and freight trains) overhaul them there.

This has nothing to do with platform stops in Andernach and the pre-annoucement functionality when operating the simulation "stand alone".

Richard has explained the severe technical complications pretty well in one of his previous posts above. This functionality has not changed, and will not change.

The V001 window on the Weissenthurm will show the first train being spawned out of direction Andernach
