Maniac302 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 In the early wee hours of the morning, I receive two trains, 1343, and 694. The timetable says to shunt them off to tracks 27 and 26. However, there is no information on them beyond that. There is no movement orders, no destinations, nothing. I just end up sending them to the tractie, to get them out of the way. What's up with that?
signalsoftRC Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 They are officially going "into reserve". Means that the trains are stabled on both tracks until some occurrence the next day they're needed again. Just a couple of spare trains. If you send them to "tractie" they're gone and you won't get them back from that supervisor there. :-) So you better put them in a corner, pull the staff down from it and wait until the next huge delayed train and swap them out.
amollen Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Remember to take the personnel off, otherwise they will start calling to bug about signals being on red.
signalsoftRC Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 yeah, I should have made it such that after 5 times calling, your trade unionist will raise a concern :-) in Hengelo we have now a movement order that states: stable your train. With other words: it automatically goes to the canteen!
