Stigah Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 So ... I got a call from the technician, telling me that they wanted to earth the catenary, on track group ALL. (It was also saying something about W7 (Kleinstadt), but I don't remember the whole conversation). My English is bad, and I didn't know what an catenary was, and I forgot to look it up in the dictionary. I told them that they could do it. And after that, two mad drivers called me, saying that they saw some working on the catenary. They had to release the emergency breake, and take down the pantografs. Hehe, I lost a lot of money there! I told them that I was sorry, etc. Anyway. I am having a problem now: I have no idea why the driver is still at the telephone, several minutes after the incident. I have called him many times, telling him to continue normal operation. I also told him that I have set a route manualy for him, and that he should drive with a speed of 10 km/h, but he is still at the phone. (Maybe he is talking to his wife?) Is this a bug, or am I doing somthing wronge? The other train called me, saying that they had heard that the work was over, and that the centary had electricity again. I could then tell the train to continue. The other train, 19856, did never call me, but as I said, I tried to call him several times. I told him to continue normal operation two times, and I told him to continue with a speed of 10 km/h one time. But as I said, he is still on the phone! Do you know why? When I ask the driver why he is not moving, I get this answere: You asked me to stop and stay! I'll call you when I can continue. But he can continue, that's the problem. I really hope someone knows what's wrong here, and I will thank you in advance! Stig EDIT: For some reason, every train is driving on restricted speed now. I have not called Notruf and "ordered" an "mass emergency breake". Sorry, I don't know how to describe it in a better way, hehe. Do you know why every train is driving on restricted speed?
TjoeTjoe Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 As said in another topic, the Restricted Speed thing is (very likely) a bug that exists in this release (v3.0.0.33) of Kleinstadt. I checked this issue against simulations which are at higher version, and there this issue does not exist anymore. So for this you will just have to wait for an update of Kleinstadt. One strong remark: resolving issue specifically for Kleinstadt is not top priority. With respect to the train not departing from Track 2. As you can see in the Train Overview window, the train has a Red status. This means that the train is stopped due to an incident. In your case the cause is known. Anyway, for such (red) states you just have to be very patient. In the end the driver will call you again that he is ready to continue. I played your sim, and it took uptill 14:32 before he called me Finally, and please consider this a friendly remark. From my point of view it does not make much sense to pull all the sliders to the maximum that could make the simulation more difficult to play. I noticed that in this sim-file a lot of extra trains are coming, irregularities occur like catenary works, signal failures and so on. Those can make the simulation very hard to play for even the more experience players, so I do not even want to try to explain how difficult the simulation will be by applying such settings for beginners. In other words, anyone should take the time to AND read the (enormous) amount of information on the Wiki pages AND taking the time to understand the basics of this really advanced simulation before raising the bars Erwin
