fvefa Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Hi, i started with Bonn/Gelsenkirchen and now looking for next Signal Box. Read the posts and as far as i understand dispatching Köln would be for single user difficult for next step. There are two options. a- Remagen/Bonn Godesberg package. Sp Dr S 60 type and looks more challenging then option b. Especially Remagen has four stations etc. b- Hürth/Andernach package. I dont know if these are also Sp Dr S 60 type or not ? Thanks for any advise. Regards Ferdi Vefa
TjoeTjoe Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Hi Ferdi, both the options you mention are Sp Dr S 60 type simulations. If you think that option a is the most challenging of the two options, then I would recommend you to follow your heart and choose that one. And choosing for Remagen / Bonn-Bad Godesberg will give you one more advantage: You can connect those simulation with each other, plus connect to Bonn Hbf, across your own network (or even on one PC) if you like. But just for the complete story: the simulations Hürth and Andernach are also very nice simulations Erwin
fvefa Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Thanks. Got Remagen/Godessberg. Next Hurth Regards
Nopileos Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Hi, a very nice simulation from my point of view is Braunschweig Hbf. Why? There you can play two time tables: 1974 and 2011. Braunschweig has four lines whith enough traffic. With one of the alternate time table you can learn how to shunt (There is one where you have to turnaround locos). Besides Braunschweig Hbf has a depot where trains will parked like as Köln Hbf. There you can learn on an easy way how you can work with the depot before you are playing Köln Hbf with the big depot. Here are some specifications of the time tables: Pinned article I am sure that you would have much fun with Braunschweig Hbf. Greets Nopileos
fvefa Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 I tought Braunschweig is only for 1974 and includes also steam locos which i dont want to go that far back. But with timeplan for 2011 is also very intersting. Especially your suggestions about depot training. Thanks.
Nopileos Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 In 1974 the Deutsche Bundesbahn use there no steam locos. They use there at this time diesel engine. Some time later they build the overhead contact line.
