KKAS not working after update

After I was install the last update, I can't start the sim. The starting window staying at "Collecting loose bolts and nuts...".

Is there any suggestion?

deinstall and re-install? Something likely got corrupted on your machine...

The setup is in the "update" folder.

hallo trainmen. I had the same problem. Try to reset completly workspace. (-> setting --> workspace -> reset all and restart simulation9 and after launch the sim

A question for both kmfboy and Diego (intallonabile)

The reason why resetting your workspace did the trick has to do with the fact that the simulation(s) save specific user settings.

This can be just the position and sizes of the various windows available in the sims, but also the content of certain windows.

For the last I am referring to for example the Tile Observer window and the Free Tile Observer window.

I discussed this issue shortly with Richard yesterday, and we think that the reason for your sim "freeze" is originating from the fact that some tiles have been updated/changed/replaced.

Then after the update the sim tried to startup with "old savings" of modified or maybe even removed tiles, which made things hang whilst starting a new session. At least, that's what we could think of.

So question here is : Do/did you guys make use of these (Free) Tile Observer window ?

Hope you can give a clue on this.

i think that my problem was originate by window of catenray control. In fact when i launched the sim after update for some seconds thi wondows appears and desappears. When i had reset all this not happened anymore

while i'm speaking if possible i have a question for you and Richard. Yesterday evening i had Andernach with Weissenthurm and brohl linked (line operations) with a high sequence of trains coming from south (4 trains : 1 in Andernach, 2 in block sections KWEH-KAND and another in Kweh gleis). Suddenly the first train in front of my entrance signal (at Andernach) disappear from Panel (it was present on train overview but without indication of his status). The second train overtake his position and has entered in Andernach in stead of missed train.

How can you interpretate this ?

Well as Richard stated in an other reply to your post that the Catenary Controls are withdrawn for the moment, as they will come back in a different form, this might pretty well be the cause for your issues
