Kleinstadt shunting

Why all shunting movements from station paltforms to extreme locations (i.e gl. 1.1 or 2.1, or 1.3 or 1.4) dont stop but proceed towards other stations at restricted speed ? Only extreme location 4.2 and 4.1 are goods for shunting movements

no answer for my question ?

This just sounds like the Kleinstadt simulation is missing some so-called "Rangierhalttafel" (Ra 10). See: www.stellwerke.de : Signalsystem Deutschland - Rangiersignale.

Only work around for this is to issue Movement orders on those track sections you mentionned above (if available).

Before you ask : updates to the training simulation Kleinstadt are not on the top-priority list. This free simulation in particular is provided as-is.

ok Erwin, thanks for your answer, is the same idea that i have about difference with others simulations. Kleinstadt is as a "free training laboratory" and for this reason is logical that something can be not be at 100%. There is another question not solved for me regardin BU for trains coming from Erle on right track and "Ein" light control on panel . It seems that the only method to close this BU (in alternative to automatic closure, but in this cas Ein must flash or not ?) is the manual method. If i close it with ET button (automatic) when train go over the BU it dont open.

Thanks as always for your patience

Such questions hurt my brains :-)

Allright, from Erle towards Kleinstadt the level crossing is a level crossings of type Fü (hence the arrow pointing to the right). In short this means that the level crossing (LC) is not under the control of the dispatcher. It is controlled by local (remote) safety logic.

From Kleinstadt towards Erle, that same LC is a level crossings of type Hp (if I am not wrong). For that direction, the LC will start closing once the dispatcher sets a route over it.

Now the fun is that you can not control anything on a type Fü level crossing. The lights on the panel only tell you the status of it. No way you can close it.
But in this situation you can because it's a type Hp LC for the other direction. You can indeed close the level crossing manually by using the ET button together with the BÜT button of the level crossing.

Remember that you are operating the type Hp part of the LC here.

What I think is happening here is that the LC does not open because the train is crossing the LC over the Fü logic [Erle -> Kleinstadt] (which you can not control). It should/must work when the train would cross the LC towards Erle, as for that direction [Kleinstadt -> Erle] the LC is a Hp type one, and thus controllable by the dispatcher.

The "Ein" light should be lit when the LC is closed correctly. It flashes when closing time is exceeded.

More info here : SignalWiki - Operating level crossings of type Fü (Fü-Bahnübergängen)

ok Erwin. now i have comprise your explanation about this BU. And now the last problem remains the EIN light that is always OFF for trains coming on right track from ERLE while for trains coming on left become correctly light.

Kleinstadt is our testbed and normally up-to-date with functionality. If there is no "shunting limit" sign, like on the normal exit tracks (right lines), a shunting movement WITHOUT a turnaround order, WILL continue to the next station as a shunting movement. (This can only be caught on the dutch sims currently). Hence you must give him a turn around order for the west or eastside of the station.

If there is a "shunting limit" sign, a shunt movement will see it like an automatic turnaround order.

It's not easy to automate this, as there are many conditions involved where a shunter driver MAY pull out a long way. There's no clear "end point" of the station in certain cases.

Thanks, for your reply. Only now i see it

Please. i Ask RIchard to tell something about my old question for EIN light for Railroad crossing (it must be On or off for trains from Erle ?)

thanks
