Please is there some possibility to close these RRcrossing manually and in the same time to open block signal that protect them without to wait that automatic procedure is activate from train arriving ?

i have tried in consequence at this instruction page of signalsoft wikipedia but i had not result. I close with ET button, RR barriers go down, then i push BUFT button but the square doesnt light and signal remain red .Only train approching make light the square indicator. Is there something different i must do ?
