TTownTrainFan Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I have some trains that say they are going to CE, like 7707. I offer the train but the CE DS says "I don't have this train on my list, are you sure it is the right train?" I tell him "Of course it's the right train" - and he takes it but I a salary deduction for being rude. Is there a way to offer this train and not get a penalty? Should I not offer the train? It says it is going to CE? Thank you, Steve Davis Coweta OK
Helmut Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hi Steve, here are two possible reasons. If the direction flag is already showing outwards you can set the route without offering a train. If you offer it in this case, you will see this question. Then say: "Sorry, my fault" and set the route towards Celle. Also the neighbour dispatcher does not know the train number until the train is running the brake test. The train number has to be listed in the current train section in the train overview. So don't offer the train to early. I hope one of these is the solution to your problem. Helmut

Note that you have to offer te train including its steering number (can't remember if and which steering number those 77xx trains to/from Celle have) Information on how to operate ZNP801 can be read in the SignalWiki : ZNP801
intallonabile Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 in this case, if train number is 7707 without steering number must write 007707, if there is steering number, example 3, write 307707 Diego
TjoeTjoe Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 in this case, if train number is 7707 without steering number must write 007707 I do not think this is correct: 007707 is used for train with steering number 0 and actual train number 7707 7707 is for train 7707 without any steering number
intallonabile Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hallo Erwin, are you sure ? i'm alone from PC and can not try but i remember different. This evening i will verify all this Ciao Diego
TjoeTjoe Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 i'm alone from PC and can not try but i remember different. Same here : not having access to the sims either But yes, though I am not 100% sure as I can 't verify it myself right now, it does match with what is written in de Wiki (at the bottom of that page)
intallonabile Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Hallo Erwin. Just tried now. You are right ! Sorry, all as you say Diego
TTownTrainFan Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 Steering number in this case was '3'. So 37707 is what I need to offer. I tried both, but with the telephone not the ZNP. Thank you for the help, you guys are great! ==Steve
TjoeTjoe Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Offering trains by telephone is to be done excluding the steering number, so just 7707 in your example. However, and I could be totally wrong here, but it's my believe that in the simulation you can only offer trains by telephone if there is no ZNP801 available. Exception on this "rule" is offering out of gauge trains (they have to be announced by phone), but that is out of scope here as Kleinstadt does not have Out of Gauge trains in the timetable In the given example the following should work using ZNP : 307707 C 303 ANB and then hit ZNS
