TTownTrainFan Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 A very minor feature request. I have a laptop that does not have a numeric keypad, or even a function key you can press to simulate a numeric keypad. So I can't change the simulation speed using +/- (the plus and minus on the main keyboard don't have any effect). Sometimes there is a long wait between trains and it is nice to speed things up. Is there any way we could have the option of changing the key mapping, or at least, add a second key combination to speed up/slow down the sim that is found on the standard keyboard and does not require the numeric keypad? Maybe just add the + and - keys that are on the standard keyboard? I know it's minor but it would have a big impact on my ability to enjoy the sim while traveling, and maybe some others as well. Thank you in advance for the consideration, Steve Davis Tulsa, OK USA
KobaiasoftSupport Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Some of our users use AutoHotKey to remap some keys. You might give it a try. Here's the link to the AutoHotKey website.
TTownTrainFan Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Cool, I wasn't aware of that! I'll give it a try. Thank you, Steve
