Unable To Set Some Routes From Hbf To Betriebsbanhof

Before I start I must say that the new Heidelberg Simulation is very interesting and challenging and I am thoroughly enjoying it, however I am now having problems setting routes from some platforms to the Betriebsbanhof.

Train 3403 arrived at Platform 2 from Kirchheim. I revoked the overlap but was unable to set a shunt route to the Bbf. I received a message at the bottom of the screen stating "P002 -> 240 Startsignal in use already". tried everything I could think of to determine what could be causing the problem but without success.

I restarted the sim from 0700, and was able to set a route from Platform 2 to Bbf (240) for another train (sorry, I didn't note the number) without any trouble. Then when train 7206 arrived at Platform 8 from Kirchheim I revoked the overlap but when I tried to set a shunt route from Signal P008 Sperrsignals 135, 207 and 240 all flashed yellow, and when I pressed any of those exit buttons I received the "P008 -> 135/207/240 Startsignal in use already" message.

I cannot think what could be causing this to happen, so any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Phil.

Press the FHT button + Signal button of the cover signal (the one in the middle)
If the signal is still locked, it means that the train route towards the signal has not been fully released.

I just added a note in the Wiki on this :
SignalWiki - Dispatching in Zentralstellwerk Heidelberg Hbf - SpDrS 59 Technology

PS : Did you manage to print the Remagen timetables to PDF?

Hi Erwin,

Thank you for replying so soon, FHT + cover signal button worked. There must have been part of the route stuck in the interlocking as I heard the relays drop.

Due to other commitments taking up much of my time over recent days I have not tried to print the Remagen timetables to PDF yet but it is on my list of things to do and I will let you know how I get on. I have, however, been getting used to setting routes with the Number Entry system. It does make a change from pressing panel buttons all the time.

Thanks again for helping me solve the problem at Heidelberg, it is a really interesting sim.

Regards,

Phil.
