pblanksb Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 When running any given simulation past midnight and into the next day, I've noticed that while the timetable will continue without any problem, movement orders are not recognised. If I then start a new simulation after midnight movement orders are recognised and obeyed. Can anything be done to correct this or is there a known issue when timetables are run past midnight? Or would it simply be better to end a sim at midnight and start a new one from 0001hrs? I don't have a problem with starting a new sim but it just means that anything happening at the time (eg delays, signalling failures, etc) is lost as starting a new sim starts everything afresh. Regards, Phil.
pblanksb Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 After posting the above I went searching and found my answer in an old thread. Apparently there is an issue with running timetables past midnight, and it is better to start a new sim at 0001. Phil.
pga1965 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 i have also noticed a issue after midnight, between 00.00 and 00.59 that even if a train arrives early at a station or is 1 minute or more late, that its is shown late by 1440 mins +/- the amount of time early or late. for example if a train arrives at the platform 1 min before schedule, it shows as being 1439 mins late, or if departure is 2 min late it shows as 1442mins late instead of 2 mins. this happens to me in BONN sim.Paul
TjoeTjoe Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 This is a long-existing issue that for reason has a very low priority. Have discussed this with the developers a couple of times in the past, suggesting that each train should not only keep track of its start time, but also its start date. It is being said that that is already the case, but to me the +1440 delay time proves otherwise. Additional issue with trains after the midnight transition is the fact that movement orders are no longer there or not being executed. Maybe such issue could be reviewed again in near future.
