Good evening.

The Conversation-window and the freeform-window have dissapeared.

I have tried the function "reset window" but they do not reappear.

I have tried searching for a solution in the forum, but found nothing.

Greetings Claus

Both should be available in the menue.

conversation-window: Manage->Conversation... [shortcut: X-Key]

freeform: View->Freeform Tile Observer [should also reappear when you add a tile to the freefom]

Thank you Gleissperre.

I am afraid your answer didn't help because I had not described my problem properly, sorry.

The Conversation Window and the freeform window were gone, and hitting 'x', og 'c' on the keyboard or clicking in the menu didn't help either. They were just gone.

BUT:

Just now I found the menu item "Workspace", in "Settings", in which you can choose "reset to default". Now the conversation window and freeform window are back.

Greetings Claus.

Ps. I remember I had had this problem before, but couldn't remember what the solution was.

Similar issues happened to me as well, but only to the free tile observer window as far as I can remember.

And only when the window was set to be outside the main window of the simulation.

What basically happened was that the window was set to a size of 0 x 0 pixels plus located on a position somewhere top/left just outside of the visible area of the desktop. Now, when you press ALT in a window, you should get a menu allowing moving a window.

What I did was make sure that the invisible window had the focus, then press ALT, then used arrow keys to select the Move Window option, and then kept pressing arrow down and arrow right until a ver small window showed up again. Once it was there again, I could resize the window again using the mouse.

Anyway, resetting the workspace works faster. For sure if you don't care about loosing all the other settings

Aha, I might try that next time the problem arises.
