Danny252 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 3151 is timetabled to enter from Elst, stop in Platform 3 at 08:18, reverse in the Kap and again at the West Side, and then enter the Tractice. The problem I have is that no matter which platform 3151 stops it, it stops short, blocking the points behind it, but not far enough to be behind the signal. The only solution I've found is to send it straight to the Tractice, without stopping in the station. Is there something else I should be doing to reverse it at the Kap? Or should I just send it straight to the Tractice?
signalsoftRC Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 the timetable says: send it to track 4. it will turn around on any track in "Kap" (= "hood" = jargon for the large station hall that was there... eh yes, 25 years earlier) If you would send it to 6a or so, yep, it won't fit and block all switches/points/turnouts in the back. it's your task to ensure that you send the trains to tracks where they fit on to dump the load. eh. passengers. for Arnhem it is very advisable to print out the timetable (pdf file, read in informatoin pages)
Danny252 Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 the timetable says: send it to track 4. Which timetable is this? The .pdf that came with Arnhem says Platform 3 for 3151 (the only date of publication on the .pdf is "Copyright 2008")
signalsoftRC Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 ah, yes. I forgot.. the 3151 has to go to 3a/b in it's full length. (as 4 is occupied for a turning train) take it all the way to 3b on the eastside. it will turn around there and you can set the route from 3a via berg to track 51. and then to Tractie.
