Danny252 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I recently started playing Arnhem, and the initial downloaded version placed Stopped Trains when I started a new simulation correctly. However, upon registering and downloading the latest update (1.8.0.10102), the "Enable Stopped Trains" function no longer works. I've checked that the option is definately set, but the stopped trains are neither placed in the simulation nor listed in the notes when I start - is the sim not reading the option setting correctly? Stabled trains still spawn correctly.
signalsoftRC Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 eh? that's completely new to me.. Many users out there, but not that kind of a messages until now. Lots depends on the time of day you start with. If it's 7.55, you likely have something around at the platforms. any other time of the day... oh gosh, 1440 possible combinations (24x60 minutes...) do multiply with the day of the weeks.... = 7x1440 = 10080 possibilities. The systems attempts to do its best in placing trains. Some can't appear for some trazillion reasons, some have no problem in being "plunged" on the rails somewhere before the sim starts. try a couple of minutes later and the world looks different at startup.
Danny252 Posted November 7, 2010 Author Posted November 7, 2010 I've left it at the default 07:55am - I know that before the patch, the trains you refer to were there, but no longer appear! I can only assume it's a bug, as toggling options has no effect at all.
