Route setting to Track 250 in Bonn

Featured Replies

As some of you might have noticed: it's hard to set a normal route towards track 250 (Bonn-Duisdorf).

That's normal and intended to be that way. This because Track 250 and 251 do NOT have Overhead Line Equipment (Catenary). To enforce an action by the dispatcher to confirm the route from tracks with Overhead Line Equipment to tracks WITHOUT OLE, the operator needs to press FfrT the similar way you would use the UFGT or FHT or FRT. Pressing FfrT first and then start and end button acknowledges that you realise that it must be a diesel train going there!

You can find the FfrT on the group button panel.

If you're a user of the Number Entry Panel, you can find a FfrT button too. you press the FfrT before you press the ATK and ZT or RT buttons.

If you do it via the keyboard you can press:

203250, then cursor UP (=FfrT), then cursor RIGHT (=direction ZT1) then Enter.

In any case if a route is NOT set, you will get a little help message in the status bar at the bottom of the main window. It shows you the most significant reason why the route was not possible.
