zimmerer-azubi@arcor.de Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Good Evening! I achieved "Post T Arnhem 1965" via 'signalsoft nederland' and downloaded it - after launching I switched to three o'clock (some lazy night shift for starting). Now all got regular for about 90 minutes and now there's a complication with the shunting loc>4076: I routed it to track 5a, where it is to turn around and head to track 23 for coupling on train 4076. I set a route with aspect running on sight with target track 23. Now the loco starts to move and comes to stop on w91 in the end (yellow light) - w91 + w97 are still locked (red lights) - the train overview states loc>4076 in 'sp23', but it doesn't couple as ordered. Looks a bit like some kind of derailment - but the engineer won't tell me... I can't see a wrong handling by me - can someone of the support tell whether it's a bug oder not? Thanks in advance! zimaz PS: If needed, I've got a screenshot and a save from that time
zimmerer-azubi@arcor.de Posted May 27, 2009 Author Posted May 27, 2009 Hello, would be very nice if someone from signalsoft administration could give any kind of answer belonging to this problem... zimaz

This is the reason replying late. The 4076 stops too early upon arrival and doesn't leave enough space at the rear to enable his locos getting behind the signal. This is caused by a part of the "fuzzy" logic for drivers that tends to happen ONLY with train 4076. We've ironed out that bug and will be solved in the oncoming update. You'll be notified automatically. Just watch your email inbox! To circumvent the issue at the moment, please give the 4076 before arrival the 1st movement order to call you back. He will then pull up until the signal phone at the end of the track, and so will leave enough space at the back!

Now the loc will couple as ordered. Secure the route and set the next signal in the route. The train will move forward. greetings Hobbyman

Thanks to Hobbyman and the Signalsoft Support, your points of advice finally brought the things to work (better: to roll). Be appreciated for your fine answers! By the way: I just read about some kind of new version/update in the dutch language section, but didn't get it exactly (translated) - is there already a patch available for those customers who achieved the simulation early (e.g. in april)? Thanks, zimaz

Thanks, zimaz We're almost there for your update. Expect an email before/in the weekend. (need to solve 3 little data bugs and testing it)
graham Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Was this problem only 4076? I seem to recall this would happen to any train coming from the east which had to R/R in Arnhem Berg. Not playing the latest version though, so may not be an issue.

It's solved in a version later than the one from June 2009. For sure it's solved in version 1.7.24.9999. If you don't have that one, you need to update. (solves some other minor issues too)
