tomlawrie Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Iam a complete beginner to this type of simulation, and I am keen to get started. I downloaded and tried to understand the manual, but I found Braunschweig too complicated and have been trying the Kleinstadt sim. and I am even having difficulty here.I do not seem to be able to route the trains through Kleinstadt,eg train no.4328 is stuck at signal EsigA and I am not able to change the signal for the train to proceed. I am probably missing something very basic here but having gone through the manual and handbook am still (like train 4328) no further forward ! Could someone please advise me on my embarrasing lack of progress !
KobaiasoftSupport Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 You're not the only one... there's a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you've never used such a panel before. As a software developer, I had to learn all this stuff too, and I'm still learning! Train 4328 is headed for track 3, so I know I need to set a route from Signal A to Signal N3. After clicking the two buttons (the order does not matter) the route should come in. I've included a screenshot of the route, after it has been set. I've indicated the two buttons also. Once you get the hang of setting routes, the rest of the button interaction is fairly straight forward. For a beginner such as yourself, I suggest you have a look at the wiki.
