Gl.89 Direction Arrow Will Not Change

Running the sim on Sunday 13 October 2013, Maberzell offers me train 24805 at 1120 and I accept the train, but I am unable to change Gl.89 direction arrow with either the Data Entry Screen or by use of the panel buttons. I called the signal technician but there is no option to ask him to attend to a direction arrow that will not change.

I also tried setting a route to Maberzell and cancelling it just in case something was stuck in the interlocking to prevent the  arrow changing and then attempting to change the arrow again, but without success.

Can anyone offer any advice please, or will I have to just start a new sim from around 1115?

Regards,

Phil

Hi Phil,

did you start a saved game? In this case it may happen, if you have saved the game while a train is still running via Maberzell (even if the red lights are gone but the train is still listed in the train overview).

Otherwise it should work properly. Perhaps try it with a new start and look what happens.

Hi Helmut,

Yes it was a saved game, previously saved at 1040 with train 24808 heading towards Maberzell from Fulda, no longer occupying any track circuits but still showing in the Train Overview window.

Thanks for your advice, I will avoid saving a sim with a train in the Fulda - Maberzell section, and just to be safe also the Bronzell - Gersfeld section as that also has direction arrows.

Regards,

Phil.
