Wie in den Hinweisen zum Fahrplan (Örtliche Kenntnisse Karlsruhe Hbf) schon erwähnt, ist 2015 das gewählte Fahrplanjahr für Karlsruhe Hbf.

Man kann natürlich beim Start der Sim ein beliebiges Datum (auch das aktuelle) wählen und die Züge fahren lassen. Allerdings werden eine ganze Reihe von Zügen (z.B. Orientexpress, Felsenlandexpress, Fußballsonderzüge usw.) bzw. im Verlaufe des Fahrplanjahres vorkommende Varianten eines Zuges (insbesondere Herkunft, Ziel, Zugbildung, Fahrweg bei den Fernreisezügen) nie erscheinen, wenn man beim Start der Sim nicht das Jahr 2015 wählt.
