Karlsruhe will not start.

Featured Replies

I have Windows 10

It has been a long time since I simmed Karlsruhe, so today I wanted to, but found it wasn't installed on my PC at this moment (I probably uninstalled it at some point and have forgotten why). I looked in my archives and found the installation file and installed it again (as administrator).

But I can not start the sim!

I can double click on the desktop icon, the clue circle will spin for a few seconds, then nothing. These days I am simming many other Signalsoft stellwerks. They all work, but not Karlsruhe.

I have tried to download and install the DEMO version of Karlsruhe, and that works. I also tried to redownload and install the Pay version of Karlsruhe from my downloads in the shop. But I can't start it.

Have you entered the license key? If the respective window doesn't pop up, you should copy it to the following folder: [Drive]:\documents\Signalsoft\Zentralstellwerk Karlsruhe Hbf\licence

At the destination you described I only have a "data" folder in Zentralstellwerk Karlsruhe Hbf. I created a "licence" folder and copied the unzipped license in there. Was that correctly understood? Byu the way it still doesn't start up.

edit: Looking at the other stellwerks in "Signalsoft" folder it seeems that Karlsruhe Hbf is missing a number of folders

Problem solved!

I had forgotten I had the same problem with Karlsruhe Hbf some time ago. The solution was/is to install it on a different drive. An external in my case.

A person named Charlie Salts, was the man with the solution back then. I he is here, then thank you again.
