Drivers Do Not Call In For Train Crew Changes

Running a new sim with the latest sim version 3.7.021 just downloaded and installed with the latest timetable (file dated 15/04/16) starting at 0011 with 9 mins of pre-run from 0002, I have noticed crew-change drivers are not calling in to ask where to wait for their trains. I curremtly have two LPW trains waiting, 4-69066 on Track 258 opposite Fulda Gbf and 3-69351 on Track 705 at Gutzenhof.  I don't want to let them up to Fulda Hbf without their forward drivers being there as they will cause congestion.

Has something changed in either the sim version or the timetable to prevent forward drivers calling to advise they are there? I cannot attach a save as it exceeds the permitted maximum of 307kb.

Regards,

Phil.

The latest update of Fulda caused this new bug. The overtaking drivers don't call anymore.

But the relay will take part anyway at the location listed in the movement order. So, let the trains run to the respective location.

By the way, there are two other new bugs in this version. The latest version running without bug is 3.7.0.19.

Thanks for your reply Helmut.

It is annoying that bugs have crept in to an update (updates should improve functionality, not decrease it). so now I'll have to uninstall and reinstall the original sim to get the traincrew relief functionality back. What are the other two issues besides drivers not calling in? Or is there any plan to roll back the update to fix the bugs?

The release version has some bugs, too. Also those I mentioned.

The best way is to set windows back to a date before you've installed the update. Then you should make a copy of all program files of version x.19. So you could put them back to the main program folder  later again in case of another update with new bugs.

Ah, I wish I had seen this sooner, I uninstalled and reinstalled so I'm back to the original version 3.7.0.0. I did that because I couldn't see a way of rolling back to v3.7.0.19. I'll just have to wait for a future update to put train crew relief phone calls back in the latest version again.

One good thing to come out of this is that I have discovered my computer does not create regular restore points so I will have to set that up. PC's I've had in the past with earlier versions of Windows automatically created regular restore points.

Thanks for your help again Helmut.

Phil.
