Track Circuit Failure Still There After Technician Fixed It

Playing Brohl in Line Operations, track circuit 002 between Brohl - Remagan failed to clear after the passage of a train. I called the technician, and sometime later he reported that it was fixed, but the TC still showed occupied and it prevented me clearing signals P2/P3/P4 from Brohl station. I called the technician twice more and the result was the same, he reported it fixed but it still showed occupied. Is this a bug?

you're talking about the section on the bottom left of the panel, right?
If so, ever tried resetting the axle counters on that track?

Yes bottom left then heading up to the middle and away to the left, track citcuit 002 ends before reaching the first automatic signal. There is no axle counter reset button. The nearest reset button is near to the level crossings, I tried it but it does not work for TC 002.

Hallo Phil. I had the same problem some days and also for me the thecnician report a positive result with track circuit ever occupied .( I was in line operation and linked with Remagen and Andernach)

It seems I'm not the only one having problems then. It has happened at other signalboxes but I can't remember when or where. Next time it happens I will save the file.

i have posted another thread because this problem still remain even if i set to zero stellwerke failures. It seems to be a problem that system can not manage. Pheraps in a next future Richard will improve the quality of network with a full bidirectional on all tracks Sinzig-Brohl !!!

Because I've had problems with track circuits or axle counters still indicating failed after the technician has restored them I now play all my sims with signalling equipment failures set to 'zero' and so far I've not encountered the problem you have just mentioned. To compensate for the lack of signalling failures I run my sims with a medium level of delay probability/increased station dwell time/slow running, etc., to keep me thinking!

hallo Phil. i have tried others simulations as kand or kweh and with zero failures setting there are not track problems. the strange behaviour is in Brohl becuase 002 track seems to be not influenced from settings. i try this simulation in line operations and connected to kre and kand, do you work nirmally stand alone or also you like to ply more simulations in the same time ?

Hi Diego,

Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you meant that you got track problems with other sims set to zero failures.

I never run two simulations at the same time. I run one and catch up on my reading at the same time, just like a real signalman!

I play in Line Operations too, it makes it feel more real knowing a human is working the box either side.

i said that in kand or kweh with zero failures ther are really zero failures while in kbro track 002 has problem always, even if chose zero failures in startup options.
