pblanksb Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Running timetable 07/07/2001, the time is 1925, train 2-76408 is offered to the Bbf and accepted on Track 005, ultimate destination being the Schlundgleis.. The train departs from Cologne Hbf and stops at red signal 005. Signal 005 does not clear. I try to edit the movement instructions to re-enter Schlundgleis but Schlundgleis will not illuminate as an option to select. I try to edit the movement instructions to send 76408 to Bbf R5 or R3 but this doesn't work either. I am left with 76408 fouling routes from Track 5 and Track 6. Any help would be most welcome, and I have a saved sim file if that would be of assistance. Regards, Phil.
Helmut Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Hi Phil, I had the same problem in August last year and reported it here in the forum: http://www.signalsoft.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=2458#entry17791 The train 76408 has no movement orders for the Bbf and its timetable is wrong. According to it the train ends in KK and not in KKB. That`s why the Bbf dispatcher does not know the train and cannot send it to the right track. Therefor the train stops at signal 7. It is possible to set the route from signal 7 to Schlundgleis by your own in the menue "edit shunting areas" and then use the right mouse button on "7 --> Schlundgleis". The route will be set, signal 7 will change to Hp 1 and the train will move. With this you get rid of the train. But you will also get a salary reduction because you have sent the train to the wrong destination. Its destination in the timetable is still KK. I hope somebody in the team will find the time to modify the entry of the train in the timetable. Regards Helmut
TjoeTjoe Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Just had a look at this problem, and it initially raised some question marks in my eyes when reproducing this. As I am mostly running a sim in dev-mode I got exceptions when looking into the movement orders of this 76408. To keep a long story short. I changed the final destination of this train into KKW, as I thought I needed to have the approval from dispatcher K-West before I could send any train onto the Schlundgleis (KKB77AT). For that, the dispatcher KKW needs to know this train, which can only be done to set the destination to KKW in the timetable. But still no luck - still having the original Movement Orders in place. Procedure was : call KKW to accept train 76408 on Schlundgleis, then call KKB for accepting it into Bf. Then I decided to remove the Movement Orders, and voilá, I got it through without helping the dispatcher of KKB by means of manually setting routes there.Plus, the exceptions were gone. That did ring me a bell somehow. I looked at the tracks defined being part of KKB. The Schlundgleis is not defined as track of KKB area.So in basic, the movement order to move to track KKB77AT is invalid I think if a change has to be made on this, it should be directed to an other track in KKB, one of the tracks 71 - 76 seem the most logical ones to me.
pblanksb Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 Thanks for both of your replies. I followed Helmut's instructions (I was not previously aware of the 'Edt Shunting Areas' function) and 76408 duly moved towards the Schundgleis. Regards, Phil.
