Multiplayer connecting problem

Hello!

I've updated a multiplayer version and couldn't connect to my friend's Post T Hengelo server more. We both only had a chat-window where we could talk, and a "Connecting" window with dots running circle. He gets the same when he is trying to connect to himself.

Server version is 1.6.1.9925 and the client (multiplayer) is 2.0.0.231 with the required plugin (Post T Hengelo).

Only installing the previous version of multiplayer (1.x.x.x) fixes the problem.

Thanks!

Thank you Holmes, for the details.

I have been able to reproduce the problem exactly as you've described it. I have not, however, been able to reproduce it in our development environment so I can't immediately give you a solution other than the work-around you're currently using.

Your information has been helpful, will help us to fix the problem for the next product update.

I have the same problem with my LAN-connection. The server accepts my 2 laptops but these give the failer "Cannot find type Connected from assembly Common. Version-2.0.0.2, Culture=neutral, PublicLeyToken=null.

I can chat but that is all.

Is there a way I can download the older version of Multiplayer ?

Thanks for the quick reply. Indeed it works perfectly now and my wife really enjoyed taking care of "Oldenzaal" this morning while preparing breakfast :)
